The Sorrento Writers Festival is a not-for-profit cultural and community organisation focused on bringing writers and readers together. Our mission is to promote literacy, reading and the sharing of ideas to the Mornington Peninsula community via an annual writers festival, year-round author talks and events, children’s programs and other projects. Our goal is to one day create a library in Sorrento. The inaugural 2023 Sorrento Writers Festival is a four-day celebration featuring more than 130 writers at 90+ events.
